I got a tint ticket so i have to remove it or change it. i am just gonna take it off for now. what is the best way to get it off. i never messed with it before. i am only taking off my side windows.

i dunno it was there when i bought the car. i dont know much when it comes to it. looks like i could scrape it but i dunno

go to home depot and get yourself a widget and scrape it off yourself.

 

I got a ticket for tint in my truck. I hand 7% all around . Its easy to take of the driver and passenger windows The others I left alone . If you take it some where to have it done they will charge about 45 bucks. The pain in the *** is, the glue on the window from the tint. I heard that baby soap is the easiest way to get it off. I didnt do that cause after the court date to waive the $75 fine, I had put back on for $55.

 

so do i just take a razor blade to it??

 

buy a widget.....that's actually what it's called.

it's a little tool that holds a razor blade. and it retracts it in for storage. it is the easiest way to do it.

also.....once you get it off and the glue is a pain in the *****......lighter fluid works wonders to loosen that right up.....but be careful with it you don't want it all over inside your car.

 

best bet is to check here and find out your laws for your state Tint Laws then goto a place and tell them you want the legal limit on the front two windows most place remove old tint free if they are installing new tint...
