Max HP a 4.6L can get and another Q!

Seems to me.. Adding any more that 100hp to a stock 4.6L, your asking for trouble. If money was no object, the HP gains could be endless.

You'd be plenty fine with 100hp....

Going from to 260crank hp to 400rwhp is asking for trouble? that's almost a 200 hp increase...or actually it is...and there's members here that have done that...
You'd be plenty fine with 100hp....

On the origninal post, the highest RWHP numbers i have seen for a 2v motor was like 750 RWHP. I am sure there are a few out there that are more than that, but not having acess to any form of true aftermarket head limits 2v performance.
I have seen several articles of 650 RWHP~ cars that the owners claim are fairly streetable, if that is what you are asking. Twin turbos and a built motor seem to be the way to go.
BTW, on the 4v setups they have several 1000 RWHP 4vs out there, and they are supposedly "streetable', at least as streetable as a 1000 RWHP car can be.

I have seen some pretty high milage blown cars. Its all about how much you abuse it. If you go out and romp the **** outta it constantly then it will screw it up eventually, but it will do the same N/A.
My car is just pushing 70K.
