Default O2 Sensor Help

Hey guys, I just recently purchased 2 O2 Simulators thinking that it would get rid of the too rich or too lean code that keeps bringing my engine light back on and they didnt get rid of it. I have no cats and have been looking around for a way to loose that code from the rear O2 sensors. ANy suggestions?

I have that exact problem now.. I ordered my MIL eliminators and should have them in two days.. I was told this will correct the problem but if it doesn't you have to take your car to a tuner shop. They can hook your car up to some computer and shut off the rear O2s..

I searched the web and found lots of people that say the MIL eliminators will work.. I ordered the BBK ones from JEGs.. I hope they work but if not I guess I will just have to spend more money to get them turned off.. [sm=smiley19.gif]

BTW, what brand did you get and where did you get it from? It might be the brand you got..

Here is a link my brother posted about my problem.. He got some good replys..

You can get a handheld tuner to turn off the rear 02`s and do much more. Well worth having especially if your planning on future mods.

I have a predator and so far its great. The SCT Xcalibrator is another good choice. Those two are the most popular. Click this link for some info on the two. http://mustangtuning.com/computerchips.html

Will this tuner take the code off and keep it off, or will it just come back on after a few starts? Because my hypertech will take it off and it will come back after a few starts.

You have a hypertech? Doesn`t that tuner allow you turn off the rear 02`s. Im not too familiar with the hypertech. I know you should clear all codes before installing a tuner. (If you have any)

Usually that is the problem when you buy BBK eliminators, I think Mil works the best so i don't know what your problem is. I have installed MAC Hpipe and no eliminators, and my light never came on

Its is probably somthing more involved because I had MIL elims and took them off to replace them with the O2 SIMS. They hypertech for this car will not allow you to change anything like that it doesnt give you options besides automatic or manual trans? Mine is a manual.
