Ok.. I have a buddy who has a very nice Mustang GT.. It is a 2003 and runs 12.9 seconds in the quarter mile with stock tires on his mustang.. It is quick.. He has 3.73 gears and he says near the end of the track he is almost redlining. He told me my best bet was to go with 3.55's and to not go with 3.73's or 4.10's.. I'm curious to what you guys think.. He said his top end was still 150+ with his gears, but you have to be gentle to get it that fast.. Dunno.. What do you all think? I was in the process of getting 4.10's, but this has slowed it.. What do you think?

 

I have 3:55's in my 96. I like them but i REALLY wish i would have went with 3:73's or 4:10's.

 

Dont listen to what he says. Get at least 4.10`s You wont be dissapointed.

It actually does have flowmasters, the entire exhaust and the mufflers.. You talk about Catted H pipes and X pipes and such, but what do you think mine has.. I believe it is just a true full exhaust.. Unsure..

 

4.10's 4.10's 4.10's. Trust me way better then 3.55

 

3.55 > 3.27 (I have stock 3.55), but, 3.55 < 3.73 < 4.10. 410s will affect ur gas mileage on the highway :-/

 

definetly go no less than 4.10s....this is comng from a guy with 3.55s.

 

+1 I'm gonna throw 4.10s or 4.30s with my t56 swap when I get off deployment

 

4.10s dont effect your gas mileage much at all if your not trying to hail *** the whole time. Go 70 and ur just fine.

 

what RPM are u usually at if ur cruisin at 70 with 4.10's on a 5spd gt
