SO MUCH POWER - FISHTAILS

I have a 2003 Mach 1 and do not know a lot about cars. It has the following.

BBK CAI
4.10 Gears
Shift kit
Magna flow exhaust w/ 3in pipes
Tuned Chip

Good Year Eagle F1
275/40ZR17 Tires

I bought the car at the dealership and did not get a lot of info out of them. They told me the above though and told me it dynoed at 400HP. I called around to the places around here where they do it and I found one that verified it. It must have a lot more done to it because I was told that the above might add 50 HP if you are lucky. I know that the car stock is 305 HP. What else could they have done to get the 95 hp all together. All I know is that it is the fastest car I have ever had the chance to ride in. Another thing? When I floor it it fish tails quite a bit. How do you calm that down is there a way to keep it preety straight on take off. I thought someone told me you have to do something with the tortion bars.

It is so low to the ground that I cant see under it to look at the muffler system. Please Help if you can.

I kinda doubt it's making 400hp. It's the 4.10 that's breaking those tires loose. Try some drag radials (315's) on 12" wheels. Should hook up niice when it's warm out.

so its automatic? theres o way its 400 hp, cai, a chip, and exhaust wont get you very far. The shift kit and the 410's will make it fast but not any more h/p. The tune may have traction control off as default. this is common with people tuning their cars. If its off the car really likes to go sideways when it shifts. If its on when it shift you will probably chirp the tires and see on the gauge panel a green tire thing pop up saying you lost traction
edit: does bbk even make a mach 1 cai?

Your going to loose traction in any rwd car, with a moderate amount of power, If you floor it from a stop...unless you have slicks.

What I am saying what else could it have to make up the difference of what I know it has and 400 Hp?

If the throttle body was bigger?

How much HP will what I have add?

By the way here are some pics.

fixed it for you...can't forget that front wheel drives break the tires with less torque because the weight shifts due to the physics of what's happening.

It probobly had 400hp until the previous owner took the NO2 off. By the way you have a very cool car.

Some upper and lower control arms might help keeping it more straigh due to increasing your traction otherwise dragradials will help alot
