Default Can you guys help me out?--PBR caliper

I am new here. I have a project and I am using most of the Mustang cobra parts mix in to my car.
I bought a FRONT cobra Mustang PBR caliper (dual pistons) but they are different from what I know about FRONT PBR caliper.
I must have bought a FRONT PBR caliper with a different year.

A friend who is good with Mustang. I asked him why my PBR brakes caliper is different from 1996
Mustang cobra caliper I saw in the picture. I must have bought an older PBR caliper. Can someone tell me if there
is a difference between 1996 Cobra PBR from the other year?
I am looking for 1996.

Is the stock 1996 Mustang Cobra PBR caliper available in Autozone, Pepboys or napa?
Is PBR aftermarket parts only or it came stock from 1996 cobra?

Thanks a million

PBR makes calipers for alot of people. My BAER calipers are made by PBR. IM not 100% sure but i believe the 96 cobra had different brakes then a stock stang. Someone with more info about the cobras will have to chime in

tAC2CUL...FIRST OF ALL...APPRECIATE YOU ARE HELPING ME---THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

So, the one I gave you is not a Ford parts huh?

I don't have a Mustang but I have a 280Z and the engine is Nissan Skyline twin turbo RB26DETT.
The brake conversion I am doing with my Z (rear-front) are from Mustang 1996 Cobra.
I have no problem in the Rear since its done.
I bought a PBR front caliper from someone and he said its a PBR, I found out there are many
different years for PBR and it does not fit. I am sure if it is 1996 it will fit.

The one that will fit mine is for 1996 PBR cobra caliper (dual piston)
Can you find the part # for me for the front? left-right.

Thanks again

That # is probably a casting number.. ford OEM numbers start with a number followed by two or three letters, then more numbers and end with two or three leters.

DE-23232-AB1 for example

I called the ford # you gave me and they are very helpful.

They gave me the 1996 Ford Cobra left front side caliper PN F4ZZ2B121A
The right front caliper is F4ZZ2B120A

But the guy doesn't know what a PBR brakes means. He said he never heard.
So, is PBR an after market?

Thanks
