right now whenever my car is fully warmed up, in like 2nd or 3rd gear (sometimes others) and I jam the gas, I get this vibration/rattle that squeaks. Dunno WTF it is

lemme know, I think it may be the throwout bearing???? or something??? maybe something loose underneath I HOPE

it sounds like it's coming from directly under my car... i was t hinking maybe the clutch cable is stretched yet again and maybe is rattling?? i dunno why it only does it when the car is hot.... [:@][:@][:@]

does it happen when you have the clutch pressed in all the way or when it's released? If it's when it's released then it's your TO bearing. if it's all the time...dunno.

it's when it's released... and it's a brand new TOB.... usually throwout bearing probs happen with the clutch DEPRESSED because that puts a lot of pressure on the TOB

well i put this bi*** in the air at work today, and saw a few things that were mounted to the exhaust and trans that were very close to frame/body components , as in if the engine/tranny twitched something might hit. so I adjusted them all and tightened everything that was close to loose, I R&R the inspection plate too tighter. Looked inside and everything looks beautiful in terms of the clutch and the TOB.

Didn't make any noises on the 1/2 hour drive home from work. I dunno what it is, the car feels super solid and tight so I'm not gonna worry too much about a noise

i had a king cobra kit put on mine, and after about 1000 miles or less, the throwout bearing started to make some noises. It got progressively worse and now it rattles very loud if i dont keep pressure on the pedal. I got up under it a few weeks back, and for some reason the bearing is sheared in half. hope yours isnt the same problem.

oh boy.... ::grits teeth:: we'll see how this goes. If I have to replace the TOB so be it, but I'm gonna be one angry SOB if I have to lol.

I did every step of the project to a T... ERGH!

i always thought TOB problems were a relatively always there noise, not just under certain load conditions, which is why I think something may be loose. I tightened/neatened up a bunch of stuff underneath, we'll see if it did any good... ERG
