Default fuel rails

i was just wondering what purpose do fuel rails serve, do they increase horsepower and did they come stock on an 00 gt?

Thats how you get fuel to your injectors. Yes they are stock.

dont worry about that with your mods. if you dont run nitrous, supercharger, radical NA built engine you should be fine. they only somewhat add power in those applications.

yes fuel rails come stock on your GT

they are used to get the fuel from the fuel line to the injectors

i just orderd a paxton novi 1000 supercharger with 6-8 psi and it comes with 30 lb injectors is that going to cause a prablem.

shouldn't because you will need the bigger injectors to go with the blower

If you are really worried about it, go out and buy some. I trust Aeromotive for all fuel components.

Getting larger fuel rails will be like running a cut out after the stock mufflers.

Don't even worry about bigger fuel rails if you haven't installed a better fuel pump first. Most cars require upgraded fuel rails due to fuel starvation when using a Nitrous kit since it also taps fuel from the rail.
