Default Jet Performance Chip

I have 1998 GT with 70mm throttle body,Flowmaster exhaust,4.10's should be here today. I need some opinions on the jet performance chip-$ 319.00...is it worth it??

I doubt it's worth it IMO. It's just another crappy canned tune. You would be WAY better off putting that money into a custom dyno tune.

I wouldn't spend that much money on it. My friend had one on his car and said it made hardly any difference. He sold it to me for 40 bucks when he got rid of his 98 for a new 2005. I put it on my car and can feel very little difference. It was probably worth my 40 bucks but there's no way I would reccomend spending over $300 on it.

put a jet chip in my ranger. it was totaly worthless. no change at all, not even shift points. i ask jet about it and they told me it would take a few months for my computer to learn the new code. never gave me my money back. i might as well have just taken out the computer then put it back in. same result.

jet is horrible do not get it !!!!!!!!! its almost like superchips/hypertech/jet all work together
