I am going to have to spend a LOT of money on repairing my car very soon. I went to a collision shop and along with the repairs covered by my insurance, they quoted me about $200 to repaint the rear bumper and $120 to replace the cobra emblems with the GT emblems. Is it worth the $120 for them to replace the emblems including the cost of the emblems? Or can any moron replace the emblems?

 

dude don't even bother with the emblems, y ou can do them yourself. I'm not sure if they snap in or screw in but I know it's no big deal

The emblems sound a bit high... seeing how all the emblems are 10-15 bucks on this site...

to help answer your question, if your like two monkey's throwing poop at eachother when it comes to fixing cars, then doing it yourself probably wouldnt be the best of idea's... but if you know how to remove stickers from anything then redoing the emblems shouldnt be hard at all for you.
I could replace all the emblems in about 15mins.. so yeah...

Hey I'm just wondering... is it possible to put a front bumper of a Mustang Cobra on a Mustang GT ? Because I'm getting a Mustang GT (Cobra is too expensive) but I like the front bumper on the cobras much more. I tried searching the internet for a cobra bumper like the on the picture.. but i dont find any that are for sale i only find pictures like this..

Sorry I didn't clear my thread up guys, I'm spending a lot of money as in $1000 plus the $200 for the bumper and $120 for emblems. Needs repairs from accident. Anyways thanks for the input and I called the repair place and told them not to do anything with the emblems. I'll do it myself as soon as I decide which emblems to put on (GT or 4.6) but hopefully it won't be too much of a hassle.

As for the cobra bumper on a GT, yes it is possible but for the 03/04 cobra bumper like you posted you need to modify it a little bit, it doesn't fit perfectly.
