Where do you want to beat him? A set of 4.56s and slicks, and you will kill him stoplight to stoplight.
If you really think about it, almost any RWD car can be made into a stoplight racer monster. Your just gonna be falling back REALL quick once you make it past 35-40 or so.
If you want to still be able to drive your car, id say a 100 shot, bolt ons (upper intake etc, 3.73s, underdrives, exaust) and a set of drag radials and you should be raping em. Your car made what, 225 hp stock? A 100 shot and boltons gotta have you at LEAST upwards of 325 HP. That should be enough to take a mach 1

Why not just sell the '98 and buy something with potential w/o having to swap heads and other such things. You bought one of the slowest Mustangs EVER produced and you want it to outrun one of the fastest ones.

The only difference is heads... not a huge deal. SHHHHH! I think my stang can hear you guys! 225 is fine for me... no need to race F-bodies, just driving to school in a fun car.
