nittos will give you a lot of grip. If you are looking for wet and dry traction, I have BFGoodrich G-Force KDWS tires and they are great.

I have these and love them. Good wet and dry tire. The treadwear isn't great but they're a lot cheaper than BFGs, don't know about Nittos though. Good wet and dry tire

my michelin pilot sports have excellent ratings, wet and dry. i've never once complained to myself about these tires. i've used them on other cars i've owned since they came out and i'll keep buying them. a little expensive but worth the money.

I just ordered these...I'll let you know how they are after I get everything mounted/balanced tomorrow. Oh but nm...DRs are probably completely out of the question for your since you want them to last long? What's the point of lasting long, go with DRs. Last half as long, but cost half the price aswell. I got these in 315/35/17 for 155 a tire. Its gunna be like 250-300 per tire for a regular high performance tire in that size. At least from what I have seen.

I had the Pilot Sport PS2's on my car and didn't think they were worth the money. Dont get me wrong they are a good tire, but 1 burn out and they are done. I just bought the Toyo Ra1's the other day. I didnt put them on yet. The Toyo's look like more of a road race tire then the PS2's.
