Default safe n20

hey, just wondering what a safe shot of nitrous for a stock engine would be, i know its still hard on the engine, but i was thinkin it could take atleast a 75 shot since it would mainly be used for the track and sometimes on the street when people need to be taught a lesson

don't mean to hijack... but on the topic of nitrous, is that something you run all the time when you are racing, or just once you hit 4th, or at certain throttle setting?? always wondered

but I've heard 75-125 shots can be safe when tuned for it and such... but I"ll let the experts chime in

75-125 is the most popular choices. Personally I would do a 100 shot, it's a good safe bet. I would strongly suggest a window switch as well.

I run a 75 shot and no issues..I have a BMN nitro controller and fuel safety switch installed as well. When I get a BAP I will jet up to a 100 shot and cal it good.

First you need to understand that nothing is 100% safe. Generally a 75-100 hp shot is the safest for a stock engine as long as you have all the proper saftey systems in place. I have actually broken a block and cracked a piston on a 75 shot so the potental for disaster is always there.
