Default Just got an '02 GT Automatic

Greetings. I have my GT automatic now for about a week. I don't know too much about cars but I'm learning. I have 4.10's coming in the mail and I heard alot of different answers to the question *How do you correct the speedometer on a 2002 GT with an automatic transmision after putting in 4.10's???*

Does any one know??[:-]

Help! This is so confusing. If you notice the speedcal is only for automatics up to 1998. They changed from '99+... Any more ideas you can think of?????[X(]

Wow an identical post to my last one. ::Wonders if Amanda gives extra points?:: HAHAHAHHAH

Ok, just replied to another person...

What I did when I changed gears is got out my Microtuner. Let me warn you it's expensive and alot of the guys and gals in here don't appreciate the, tuner. But in 10 minutes of pressing a couple of button, my speedo was dead on. It does alot more than this and here is the link to read about it.

Click me to go to Superchips

I could have sworn somewhere that changing something quickly and inexpensively would do it, but I can't find the post. Maybe wait and don't run out and buy this tuner. Lets see what the others say.

WOW what a coinsidence... I was looking for a chip to bump up my performance. The guy at superchips warned me that a chip would negate my warrantee if they found a chip inside the computer so he ended up selling me a micro tuner!

Did you notice any performance gain from your tuner on the 91 octane program?
