how does an intake spacer work and can you use it with an aftermarket plenum and t/b?

They don't work, none of the really fast 4.6 2v use them. Don't waste your money.

I wouldnt buy it because at my local Fun ford weekend the steeda rep tried to tell me one for 45 bucks. but i didnt fall for the trick, because i used one on my old 5.0. Did nothing, supposed to cool down the air going into the intake. Also i havent put one on my 4.6, but maybe with the new plenum, you might need a new hood
