Default Post TB + Plenum Install Question

Alright guys, got the BBK plenum + tb installed, everything seems good. i reused the old TPS as i was able to get it off with a impact driver, and didnt receive any new TPS bolts with my kit. didnt notice any CELs either.

however, the idle is horrible. it normally idled around 500, and it still does, but it burbles real bad. the tach bounces off/around 500. also, when coming back down, it 'bucks' a bit when coming back past 1k. that is REAL annoying, and i hope its not messing with the tranny at all. any idea what is causing this and what I might be able to do to fix it?

if it helps, the car is an auto, and i didnt disconnect the battery before installing the unit. should i be checking the TPS voltage or messing around with the IAC? any help would be appreciated.

Try unplugging the battery for about 5 mins and let the system reset... That's the first place I would start.

Does it just run bad at idle? Does it drive okay? Vacuum leak?

I would bet money it's a Vacuum leak.

no, i didnt. it completely slipped my mind actually. i am going to reset it tomorrow. also will check for a vacuum leak. i would assume just double checking all the hoses will be a good start?

I don't think i have ever disconnected my battery for any mods except relocating the battery itself.
