need some wheel ideas
Okay well my tires are getting bad. Really really bad, as in worn out. So very soon I'm gonna buy/install C&C plates and have the beast aligned. Then I will need a set of tires and maybe wheels.
Here is the prediciment. All four wheels are rough as in the paint (stock 17" rims). One wheel has an un repairable dent. If I were to buy one used wheel, how would it look if i neatly sand down/smooth down all four wheels and spray paint them a metallic grey color? or silver?
(keep in mind I am on a very limited budget unfortunately).
Or, does anyone know where I can look for used wheels? I probably wont be getting new, I would just like a good set of my style stock wheels or any style stock 17" rim from 96-04. I need four if i'm gonna change style, and I heard about someone on this forum got 4 used wheels and 2 tires for $200. That's a deal I gotta find.
Any ideas or info let me know, I have some other repairs immediately coming up but these wheels and tires are coming shortly thereafter, and thereafter those comes the beater for winter (NOT DRIVING STANG IN SNOW AGAIN)

when when when???? will you be willing to wait a month or so??? where are you from???
I am very interested although I cannot purchase them extremely soon.... (just got new job, waiting for the pay cycles to stabilize)

that's awesome dude. I just checked tire rack and found some that are pretty close (chrome not silver) and they look sick. And your car looked sweet with them too, and mine is dark green close to black so it'll be nice. Just gotta get the parents approval which should be no problem. I get paid on the 10th...

what's that 1% for? your car? dang
well I was at a great job part time that I loved but the management went to **** and they got dishonest, I was a full time tech at this independent shop. Now I am a shuttle driver at a ford dealer for the same pay. go figure I guess I was getting screwed by the shop.
anyway the old place paid weekly and the week I started. the dealer pays bi monthly and there is a delay. ugh, i want his rims they are so awesome and will go great on my car i just gotta be patient
