hey guys i got a serious problem. My mustang is burning way to much gas.On valentine's day i went to south beach and back. which is really just an hour drive and i burned a whole tank of gasss!!! My mom has a V8 ford conversion van and she has better gas mileage then me!!![:@]. Anyways i went to the shop and the computer read purge valve. I changed my air filter and spark plugs. I dont know what to do anymore. i need your guys advice

 

Sounds like it's flooding...is it running really rich? Can you smell gas really bad from behind the car when it's started? Could be some bad o2 sensors.
