Default seafoam engine cleaner

one of my friends used seafoam engine cleaner on his 4runner he was impressed with it and reccomended it to me i was wondering if anybody has used it and what they thought i know there is different ways you can use by putting it in the oil, gas, along with a few others my car only has 50k is it necessary?

I used Seafoam many time before on about 4 different cars.. One was a '88 5.0, and '94 LT1 Trans Am, '94 Lincoln Mark VIII and mine

All were impressed with results.. Good stuff and fun to watch when it smokes!

ive never used it before..what do you do just dump it in your engine and drain it out or what?

Seafoam claims you can add it to the oil but I would not. Maybe the gas tank but its main purpose is to be fed in to a vaccum line in to the intake manifold and sucked in to clean the top end..Then once you start the car, it all gets burnt out and smokes alot.
