Default Help.. comments, suggestions.. Thanks

I plan on building a all motor/nitrous 4.6L for my 99GT motor. I was looking in to the forged bottom end packages that DSS has, and I noticed they have a 4.6l mod stroker kit. Has anyone tried this kit, if so is it worth the money. Also was looking for good head/cam combinations to go along with the forged bottom end. Car will more than likely be sprayed or have some sort of forced induction added to it in the future. I think im picking up a bare block here soon and I wanted to get working on building the motor. Any comments suggestions or personal experiences will be appreciated. Also, whats a good intake on the market. I saw the typhoon but havn't heard anything about it..? Thanks guys

theres a big write up on the typhoon in may issue of 50 and superfords mag. it added 23-25 h.p. on their test mustang and its fairly cheap but if your going for huge power in the future you should prolly go with fox lakes p51.

What's your budget and do plan on juicing it or going with a blower or turbo?

I've got 4k miles on my DSS motor and I'm very happy with their products and customer service.

Budget is around 4-5k. I recently got a new longblock from the warrenty company for my car. The motor has around 300 miles on it. Whatever parts I take off i'm going to try and turn around and sell them because there basically new. I plan on throwing some juice on it once its finished, and then maybe way in the future. (atleast a year) maybe go turbo. I'm looking for the best possible route for a 4k-5k budget. My buddy has a bare block that he is going to sell me for cheap, so I planned on starting with that. I was reading that in order to recieve maximum potential out of stage 2 cams I'd need a forged bottom end. Thats in the works so I'm assuming stage 2 cams would be good. I'd like more input from you guys. Thanks..
