I have 2001 GT and I had to replace the fuel pump due to failure. The car ran great for a day and now it won't start again. The pump is fine, I checked that first. I have checked everything on the car that I can understand. The battery is fine unless I try to start to long. The car cranks but just wont turn over. I ran diagnostic on the computer and it had no codes. The plugs ar getting spark and the fuel makes it to the rails. Any suggestions? camshaft sensor? injectors?

 

Did you check the fuse in the Fusebox??

Did you check the Safety switch in the trunk??

Did you check the pressure making it to the fuel rail??

What about the fuel filter?? Do you know the wiring is good?? Ground wires??

Clogged cat. Get a back pressure guage and test the pressure.

 

I checked all that except the wiring, I may have to break down and bring it to ford for that. Thanks
