BBK > MAC?
I've heard that BBK is a better company than MAC as far as the quality of their products. I am thinking of getting a set of LT Headers and shorty O/R H-pipe, but for the price, is BBK worth the extra money even if I plan on getting ceramic headers for either company?
I went with BBKs just because of the fitment issue. They are probably both the same quality, but I can't speak for MAC.
All I can say is that I LOVE my BBK LTs, great quality, good fitment, no problems.
Don't get a BBK midpipe though, get a MAC H if you want an H. I have heard BBKs midpipes are very raspy and poppy and choppy and all that stuff.

I don't really care about the difficulty fittment/installation because I will not do it, as long as the end result is the same, I want the cheapest one I can get. I guess I'll get the MAC noncatted Prochamber H-pipe, but as for the ceramic headers, MAC is cheaper than BBK? Someone convince me of either way.
MAC Cermamic LTs = $350
BBK Ceramic LTs = $480
Either way you go, you will be fine, yes MAC is cheaper, but if you are having someone do it. In the long run, MACs will probably cost just as much as the BBKs because whoever is doing the install is going to have to dremel the flanges, like Code, to get the fitment correct. So either way you are going to make up for the cost difference with the MACs on the labor because your installer is going to have to take time away from getting them on the car, to get them lined up.
Catch my drift. I had mine installed too, and it took him 5 hours just to get the BBKs in which line up perfectly...

Then it's done! I will get BBK LT ceramic coated headers and MAC Prochamber O/R H pipe! Now...just to save the $$ for it
