Default Test drove a Vortech'd GT....

I made a 270 mile drive from Normal, IL to Ossian, IN to test drive a beautiful, blown Mustang GT convertible. Triple black, lowered, Cobra-R wheels, and a T-trim supercharger....That was probably one of the most amazing cars I have ever driven. It put out almost 400HP to the wheels with all of its mods, and let me tell you, it was really an experience!

Unfortunately, despite driving almost 550 miles in one day, I did not buy the car. It would require a few things else for me to buy (especially back tires) and I felt it wouldn't be very fun if I couldn't upgrade it myself.

Just a heads up for people contemplating installing a supercharger in their stang; DO IT!

My hunt still continues for a mustang....If anybody can help me find one within 300 miles of Normal, IL (61776), then let me know. Once I get one, I may have a cruise!

You are definetly right about upgrading it yourself because when you do it will feel super awesome knowing that you did it all yourself.

Only 400rwhp with a T-trim? The Mrs' lil S-trim was close to 500rwhp.

Exactly what I was thinking. 2000GT4.6 has an sq trim and is over 400 rwhp

I know how you feel, I test drove an '04 Cobra before deciding to
wait for the new body style.

i should really stop going on the internet, all this supercharger talk is a real tease. i mean mine runs great, but im waiting to finish up a few things before i hit the dyno which means im keeping the driving down to a bare minimum. i admit the few times ive driven it were amazing, even if its not anywhere near the power the dyno will pull from it. i think its the blower whine that does it for me.

why would you get a t-trim just to run 6psi? i'm assuming it was a stock block and stock internals.
