do any of you automatic guys have headers? i have a bassani x-pipe and a Steeda catback, i have called bassani and they dont make automatic headers!!! they told me to contact kooks custom headers, and they want $600 per header!! so i was wondering if anyone has headers and what brand they are.. thanks!!

 

I have mac headers. I think BBK also makes headers for auto's.

I hate to sound like a tard' but what is the difference between the two? I ask because I was going to buy some headers for my GT (auto) and didn't know that there was a difference.

 

do you mean the difference between auto vs. standard headers? I believe there are clearence issues with the drive train. If your talking about the difference between SLP and MAC headers, SLP is more expensive and "are of better quality", but there are several people here with MAC long tubes and like them just fine.

i just bought slp lt headers for my 99 auto. i figured id pay a little bit more but i have slp x pipe and lm1 so the install should be easy and less expensive. with those headers and x pipe no modifications are needed and i can keep my x. sux bc summit didnt have them in stock so i have 2 waith till july

 

why didnt you just buy them from SLP directly? and just curious, do they make midlengths too? or just long tubes? and how much are they?
