the accufab is not super expensive i like the chrome look but there is a brand called power throttle bodies on ebay is it worth the extra to get the accufab or would i be ok with the power one it is almost half price?

I spent the extra to the the accufab and I love it. My friend with a bbk is getting rid of it and getting an accufab. He says his bbk sticks sometimes.
Ive never heard of power thorttle bodies, I wouldnt go with an ebay brand.

I think your best bet for half the price would be the BBK but if you want to spend more then go all out and get the accufab.

Professional Products makes a decent tb/plenum and can be found on ebay for about $230 shipped. You can get them polished or satin finish. Several guys on here have them and love them. Accufab is the best, but it's a difference of about 1-2 hp. Hardly earth shattering for the extra $200.

BTW, I plan to buy this one when the time comes. I have a new mid pipe and cat back coming next week. There is really no need for me to install the tb/plenum until I have headers, so it's a few months away.

take a look here. They tend to have some good prices on plenum/tb combos

i've had both MAC and accufab on my car. the MAC actually put down 2RWHP more than the accufab. i kept the accufab just because it looked nicer.

I have the pro products set-up. 75 mm TB and plenum combo, it rocks. You are just paying for the name with accufab. Pro products is a sponsor of this site so just look at the home page.

I have the Profesional products 75mm t/b with my plenum ported and intake spacers, I did it all at once, huge increase in throttle response and it seems to have a little more kick in the midrange, haven't been back to the dyno yet though. Anyway, the pro products stuff is good quality for the price, just consider it generic, works just as good just without the name brand
