Does any 1 know of a place where i can get a deal and buy long tubes and an x-pipe. And how much would it cost to get the headers and the x-pipe installed at a shop..?????

not gonna lie most shops will not install LT's or a midpipe becasue its illigeal

so u have to either do it ur self or find a racing shop that will look the other way then it comes to removing factory exhaust.

LTs are not illegal. Neither is a midpipe unless it is a off road type with no cats. In some states you may not be able to use some LTs, but even california has exemption laws, all you need to do is get the right brand.

 

when u get headers do you have to get teh same brand x-pipe for it to go together.?????

 

i got the same headers as my x pipe. i got them bc slp told be its a direct fit to my x and itd be easier to install

 

i got lth and x-pipes, both from hooker. parts ~ $860. labor ~$530.

 

most places WILL install O/R mid pipes because they arnt removing the cats but rather mid pipe which the cats happen to be attached too, i had a talk about that with some people and they gave me the florida technicallites of it

 

how much rwhp gains can u get from mac long tubes and mac catted h...??
