That sounds good enough. My brother has an lt1 with some mods and my dad has a STOCK 97 cobra w/ 4:10 gears and my dad walks on my brother so it sounds like you should be ok. let me know how it turns out.

I don't understand why people think ls1's are supercars. With those mods, you would beat it from every race. I raced a stock ls1 from 1st and 2nd gear rolls and stayed dead even with them. A full bolt-on gt with longtubes and 4:10s will beat a stock ls1.

 

I think you are getting pretty lucky. Without a set of LTs or a midpipe most stock LS1s should be putting it on you pretty good.

Not every LS1 is as fast as the next though, and not everyone can drive a car properly. Almost any LS1 should be getting you pretty bad from a roll though.

THe car on the video above is one of the slowest LS1 cars they make, 2.73 gears and a auto.....

 

I dont think thats true, i think with those mods and stage 1 cams he can hang/take a STOCK LS-1

 

+1... ( and if not, just VT stage 1 cams will do the trick)
