Ceramic headers hold most of the heat inside the header and blow it out the exhaust.
Chrome headers let off alot more heat under the hood because its not trapped inside the header.
The cooler it is under the hood, the better.

I would never in my life buy a mac product. I have heard way to many bad things about the, and only good things about BBK.
I purchased BBK ceramic LT headers and LOVE THEM! The power gain is amazing and I love the sound. You can't go wrong with the BBK headers and its only going to be trouble if you get the MAC Headers.

mustangGTdude1031 said he would go with the mac headers becase he has a mac h pipe, these are totally 2 different components and isnt a valid reason for getting the MAC, its prooven that the bbk headers are much nicer and you will be happier with them.

next question is the mid-pipe. what is the power difference between h and x pipes? if its not more that 5hp i would go with the h-pipe because of the sound.

Theres not much of a difference except for sound. They are pretty much equal throughout the powerband. Go with the H.

The power difference between them is negligible...pick whatever one you think sounds best.

I have the BBk LTs Ceramic with BBK O/R X about 2-3hp more than h up top most likely, Some say it sounds a bit raspy and there right, but @ WOT it sounds wicked! it Sreams loud, it actually scares people around you when you hit it hard. I have both BBk X & Mac H in the garage the H dies up top (over 5000) and the X is pulling like crazy still, do to the Quicker exiting of the Gases. Either way your good[8D]
