3.73's going in tomorrow. I'm excited to see the difference. I decided to go with 3.73's cause I may want to add more boost soon. Steeda short shifter is going in probably next week. I was wondering is the installation difficult? I'm not the leading expert in this area. Should I get my mechanic to do this?

you can install the shifter yourself, it is extremely easy, you shouldnt have a problem if you follow the directions

I will tell you the shifter install is a sinch, and i love my Steeda shifter. Its great. Make sure you have some black silicone to reseal where the shifter comes off. Also, i wouldnt install the 3.73's youreself. Have youre mech. do it. and make sure you listen for noises when you have it done, because some people are not good when they do them and the rear end howls. good luck.

oh yea my mechanic is doing the gear install. Im not that crazy. So you say listen for a whine or howl huh. ok will do. I'll check tonight. Thanks about the shifter info. thought it wouldn't be too hard. Its seems logical to get gears and shifter around the same time. Different feel, gear wind etc. Then I can move on to bigger and better stuff. Thanks again!
