umm...mine has no trouble what so ever. You must be going below a certain speed or rpm to shift into reverse, or it won't let you...same for my first gear...won't let me downshift into first unless i am going pretty slow...good safety features

 

Nope.... This is always from a complete stand still and for some reason....... going uphill. Its not so bad on flat surface. Uphill I pretty much just use two hands and force her into reverse.

It was made to be hard to put in reverse. When this happens put it in neutral, let out on the clutch, push in the clutch again, then put it in reverse. This works every time for me.

 

go to 5th then to reverse

 

mine doesn't give me any trouble, but i do have to hold it for a sec or two before it slips into reverse

 

It's just the transmission, like the others said, try putting it in 5th and try again. Sometimes I even have to let go and push in the clutch again. Bastard-a$s Tremecs!

 

I guess its times like these that I am actually a teensy bit happy that I have an auto...... Dah hell who am I fooling?!?

 

i always had trouble getting the transmission into reverse. just put the shifter in 1st then go to reverse. works everytime for me

 

it's a common problem with reverse gears across the board. Try letting out the clutch in neutral then going to reverse. Or go from another gear
