Default my 01

I have a 2001 GT, and Im not sure if i have a 3650 or a t-45, people tell me it swapped middle of production in 2001, i then saw a thing on the steeda website saying this " Midway through the production run for the 2001 model year Ford changed the design of the water pump on the 4.6L engine. The older style pump produced from 1996 to mid 2001 had a longer shaft. In January of 2001 the design of the pump was changed to a shorter shaft. This necessitated a change in the design of the pump pulley. " how much shorter you think were talkin, im assuming that they changed the tranny/waterpump at the same time... and btw, i dont have any information on my driverside door saying the year/month it was made, paint code, etc... im asking cause i cant purchase a steeda pulley or short throw shifter till i know what kinda waterpump/tranny i have... I will try to get some pics posted tomorrow of my water pump.

you could call a ford dealership and give them your vin code and they tell all you need to now about the car, month/year it was made etc.

well it may be easy, may not. they can look up the info, its just if they will do it. it may take several trys. The last 8 or 9 digits in the vin code is the s/n for the car.
