Default 3.73

Can someone explain to me how this 3.73 works? I know it has somethign to do with the gear ratio but I don't know what it's doing and how it makes the car accelerate faster. Thanks a lot.

There are many diffrent gear racieos like 3.55,3.73,3.90,4.10 and what they do is lower the gear racieo so you can accelerate faster and get off the line quicker thees gears are in the rear end... there was a post like yours a while back and i explained how they work just go too the second or third page and read it.

Back to whats at hand here.

Do you have a auto or manual?

If you have a 5 speed 4.10's are a must.If an auto like an AOD 3.73's are ok but 4.10's would still be better if you dont need fuel economy.

I have 3.73's and a C4 3 speed and its not enough for me.So ill be adding 4.10's.

3.73's are only if you want a little more thump but care about fuel economy too.The reason i chose 3.73's is because i only have a 3 speed and figured that would be fine but its not enough for me.
