The light had just turned green i was maybe going 20 mph. there was about 10-15 feet between the other car and mine. what would be a good upgrade for front brakes?

Yeah, i was going fast. but not crazy fast. The pedal went to the floor and the car just kept going. It was werid...

The mach calipers are gray with no lettering or logos at all on them. the bullitt calipers were red and had the pony on them. Maybe thats what you're thinking of. The rear calipers are cobras and theyre black. Looks kinda weird, not too noticable though.
The mach's are grey and have a white running pony, while the bullitts are the same but red I believe.

I rearended some guy about a year and half ago. He wasn't as nice about it lol. It was some old piece of shi*t truck, but he still filed an insurance claim and all that. So my insurance dropped me. Good stuff.

so yesterday i rear ended this truck!!! my f'n car is driving me crazy! the traffic in front of me came to a quick stop i had just crossed the intersection i had more then enough time and distance to stop but it felt like my car didnt want to stop. the damage was not real bad, my car will need a new bumper cover and maybe a new hood, im not too sure about fiberglass work. the guy in the truck was real cool he said it was his work truck and he told me not to worry about i so i wont have to use my insurance. thats the only good thing about this whole thing. My question is, has anyone had any brake problems with there car?
You can get the bullitt brake front kit for 400 bucks, upgrades you to 13 inch rotors and the bullitt calipers. One of the magazines did it and it significantly improved stopping time on a stock GT.

I am planning on going with the bullitt kit fairly soon. I think the stock rotors are either 12 or 11.5 so its a pretty good deal for only 400 bucks.

not trying to argue or be a dick; but i got my calipers from stangsuspension.com They have the bullitt calipers on their site. There is no logo. And im pretty sure the logo on the buillitts is engraved. Im not positive about that though. I know they look white, but I remember searching alot before I bought my brakes and im pretty sure its engraved. Definately nothing on my mach calipers though. theyre plain-*** dark gray....I'd like to have the logo on them though...

15 feet is nothing... theres no way your car would stop in that period afterr reaction time and stuff. I wouldnt blame it on the brakes, maybe someones driving.
