Default steering problem

Ok my car has something really wierd going on with the steering. If I hit a spot in the road that is alittle uneven the car wants to pull that way bad. The steering wheel shakes sometimes and shimmies alittle. Also when I hit the breaks to come to a stop the car sometimes but not all times wants to pull alittle to the right. I had the tires ballanced and rotated and an allingment done on the car. But it stills does it. The place I got this done at said they dont fill what im filling but its there. Do you have any idea at what it could be???? Please help me

Replace your tie-rods, both inner and outers. Also check your lower control arm bushings. I had a similar problem with a different car than my stang. The inner tie rods were bad, but I figured I'd replace the outers too, then had it aligned, problems went away.

My car does the same thing.

I checked my front lower control arm bushings and they are shot! One of them is even scrunched up in the control arm.

I had my roommate move the steering wheel back and forth from centered about 60 degrees each way, and you can visibly see the control arms move side to side about 1/4" each way!!

So, it follows grooves in the road real bad and sometimes pulls like it's out of alignment.

I'm gonna get some poly ones when I lower it next month....until then, I am just really careful to stay in my lane!

You would hope that the place he took it to get aligned would have told him that. Actually you think they would have told him that either way, those places are always looking for a way to stick ya for extra money.
