You might notice a slight difference. Itll probably be more noticable in the higher RPM's.

I bought roush underdrive pulleys, you can really tell a difference in lower gears... 2nd gear (when I get traction) you can feel it..

you'll notice it at first, but after a week or so, it'll feel like it's stock again.

But you should still notice a slight increase in gas mileage. They will pay for themselves overtime if you drive alot.

As with any mod, excluding nos, supercharger or turbo, you wont really see a noticable increase in power. It is the sum of all parts you bolt up that adds the HP you want to see. So yea a CAI or UDP's arent really worth the money if you are just going to install those and leave everything else stock. But if you plan on doing any mods in the future, which you will once you get those on, you will want every little thing that you can get because they all compliment each other.

My car is a daily driver and I have no problems with it... Tell that person you heard it from to shut up because they do not know what they are talking about.

It depends really, the newer mustangs had lower output alternators(like 80amp) so you actually have to get a pulley kit, I believe it comes with 3 pullies, crank alt. and wp(?). My 85 came with a 130amp alternator, I only changed the crank pulley, I have no charging problems even with a 2000 watt stereo. I also have a police package radiator so I dont have any cooling issues. But as for a daily driver it would be just fine if you get the kit and change all the pullies.
