Default water..vert

Just wanter to let you guys with verts know.... we have had a S**T load of ran in the north East for the last 3 months or so.. I was getting a ton of water under my passenger seat. I went to Ford and they found out that the drain rails were glogged at the right rear 1/4 pannel. They fixed it and sealed around the rear seat. Now im getting water in the driver side front seat.. It will be fixed by Ford with no problem. Just letting you guys know with verts...make sure you keep the drain rails clean !!!! has anyone had the same problem ????? Ford will eat it if its still under warranty.. This is apparently is a "Mustang Thing".

actually I was pretty impressed that I never had any problems with my top after listening to all the horror stories like " dont get any convertible they are cold in winter and always leak"

Damn me too! I threw a shammy (sp?) back there to soak up the water as it comes in. Makes it a tad easier to dry up.

Edit: Well, mine's maybe a little bit different. Water comes in from either side wherever the top meets the body, and not the rear window.

My buddy's 99 Cobra Convertible has a water leak that also leaves a huge puddle on the passenger side rear footwell. Seems like the water is coming in through the right rear of the convertible top like the ford dealer found on yours. Can anyone tell me where the drain passages are in the right rear quarter? Thanks
