Default Front End Creaking

It started last week with a clunk when braking hard. As the week progressed, the clunking, or pop, got worse under less severe braking. Ah Ha...ball joints. I replaced the ball joints over the weekend and the clunk, or pop, is gone. The steering is much tighter and more fun to push the car in rush hour traffic! However, there is now a creaking noise. Bushings?? Anyone have suggestions?

it may be the struts... good job with the ball joints, my car has the same problem... once I get done with this wheel/tire situation I'm replacing them on mine
