which one is better or is it just a personal choice?

ceramic, it helps keep the finish intact and also provides insulation.

i mean the price difference between the chrome and ceramic is pretty significant, is thier a big downside to the chrome beside them discoloring?

do you think heat wrap would be a suitable replacement instead of the 100+ more ceramic?
