So if I just take off my catback with mufflers and tailpipes and have just manifolds and o/r h-pipe, will there be a noticable difference in hp and or tq? I was thinking about doing this because I have a leak and I cant find it and I think I'm already losing power and it sounds like sh*t, so right now I just wanna have something that sounds good without a leak.

LOL, thanks Code. Since were on topic about my exhaust leak, was I supposed to retighten all the bolts after a certain amount of miles after I installed my o/r H-pipe? What happened is I couldnt get everything lined up so I took it to a muffler shop and they lined it up and bolted everything together, and told me to come back if theres a problem and they would fix it for free. So about a month later I thought I had an exhaust leak and took it in and the guy put it in the air and said he couldnt find a leak, but I swear me and my friend checked the other day and could hear air coming out. I know there is one. I have 1 chambered flows and an o/r h-pipe and when I get over 2500rpms or so, my exhaust is very high pitched and sounds like sh*t, but in neutral or park it doesnt have the sound when I rev it up. Code, your the answer to everything, do you know what my problem might be? Thanks.

If I ever get my damn exhaust leak figured out and fixed, I might run my car as dumps. But hell if Code, lost basically 30lbs ft tq with dumps, than that would suck.

If you don't hear it idle, I dunno if you have a leak. Start your car and have someone take a rag and put it on the exhaust tip, then crawl under the car and see if you can tell where the sound is coming from. Then do the same thing for the other exhaust tip. If you have a leak, this will help you determine where it is. Lemme know what you find out.

This actually sounds like it might work. If I have 2 people hold rags on both tips and I get under the car with that work, or do I need to do one at a time. Thanks man, I'll try it today when i get off work and get back with you.
