Default damn traction control

sometimes I have a problem with mine turning itself back on without me knowing so I try to squell the tires and she bogs down [:@][:@][:@]wtf[&:]

you can buy a device that keeps TRAC OFF all the time. Kind of expensive but it may help you if you are forgetfull.

the TC shouldn't turn itself back on, it only goes back to
the default condition when the engine is turned off/on again...

Yea dude my friend had the same problem with his 01 Bullitt. When he'd lay on it the trac control would turn itself on sometimes randomly, only when he got on the throttle though. He took it to our local Ford dealer and they had to reflash his ECU.

When I had my car tuned the tech asked me if I wanted it to be perma off and I was about to say no but decided to say yes.. Boy am I glad I did.. I hop in and never have to worry about that evil little button..

had that happen to me once too, i tried to do a burnout for the boys but just ended up stalling out [&o]

I know that the SCT handheld can turn it off, but it has to be done in the custom tune they dump into the handheld, you can't do it afterwards

I pulled out onto the highway and hammered it sideways to only be rejected by a flat pedal too.. I was scared because I thought I messed something up. But then I realized it was the TC.
