You won't see any gains in the old Butt dyno, but the sound is what makes up for it. You could try getting a set of under drive pullies. I don't know anything about your connections with the dealership guy but typically gear installs are more expensive than just 60 bucks (you also have to buy the gears too.)

you will not notice any gains from any cat-back IMO. when you get a different mid-pipe is when you will notice a difference.

you are sadly, sadly mistake..one of my friends has an '01 slp catted x, lm1..meanest sounding 4.6 i've ever heard in person (and ive heard basically every exhaust there is on 4.6's) including endless flows on the cars, and to me, flows sound the worst.

my best friend has a 5.0, 1995, with o/r h and lm1..best sounding mustang ever..he had o/r h and flows when he got it..his current set up makes the flows sound like he had a god damn taurus..MY OPPINION, flows sound horrid..they are deep, thats it, they drone like ****'s and they crap out at high rpm's....slp>flows
