I'm still confused about the 40th anniversary upgrade. All '04's had 40th side badges, supposedly the 40th upgrade package had Bullitt pedals, silver console trim and doorlock buttons, and a 40th emblem behind shifter on console. The package was available in Black, crimson red, and Oxford white. Please let me know if your '04, has the console emblem. I think my car has the 40th package, but my floor mats were quaffed (I bought my car used). If everyone has the above equipment, then that was standard fare for an '04. From what I remember, the package was available with, or without hood stripes. Such confusion on a three year old car, YIKES!

i responded in the other post check this out http://www.kingkustomstemecula.com/wst_page7.php this is a 40th anniversary edition black mustang! If yours does not look like this then yours does not have the 40th Ann. package.

 

What's confusing is it has some, but not all the options. It has the leather seats with movable headrests, and the console badge, but no paint stripe, no parchment interior. Probably the key point is the body color painted mirrors, it doesn't have that. All '04's must have the console badge.

those pieces can be easily added. I don't know. Find someone with an 04 in your area and check it out.

 

if you dont have autumn bronze stripes wheels, or autumn bronze stripes you dont have an anniversary package.

sorry to harp on this but it seems like if you dont have the stripes then you absolutely DO NOT have the 40th anniversary package. Is that correct?

 

Dont you get the 03/04 cobra mirrors too? Cause my friend has a 03 GT with like black plastic mirrors, and mine are the same color as my car and they look different. Mine has the bagde on the inside as well.

 

yeah my car has the pedals, silver trim, door locks etc.. just has the bullitt wheels, normal mirrors etc though.. the dealership said it had the package, ( didnt have floormats it was used with 16k miles)
