What is the bar that goes across your engine that helps keep your car from flexing? and how much is it? can i do it my self?

it is a strut tower brace price varies on brand i think most populare is steeda for about 149 and yes you can do it yourself

i had a stut tower brace on my SN95 and took it off it just wasted space and i put on a jlt intake. i dont think it is really needed because they olny put them mustangs GT for 4 years. juts my .02

Only get it if you do road courses or autocross. It will slow you down in a straight line because it makes it a little harder for weight transfer.
