SN95 started in 94 with the newer body style. The motor has nothing to do with the body style

yep, new edge refers to the 'egdgy' styling on teh 99-04 body styles

which i happen to like

(but there is this SN Cobra sitting down the road, its white with probably nothign done but lowered,, and its looking really good everytime i drive by it)

thanx asusmc, wasn't sure about that. ours are still SN95's but are refered to as "new edge" i believe

IMO, the new edge models were the best-looking Stangs since '79. I still prefer them over the latest models, as far as appearance goes.
