Default Help!

I was driving down to my girlfriend's house and I noticed that a light came on in the dashboard.. Is the yellow light that has a fan and is in the far right side. I dont have the owners manual I have been trying to find online what it is but I cant. I checked the coolant level and it is full. The fans works because I checked it.. What do you guys think it could be??? Thanks for your reply.

Its the check coolant light I had that came on also, but I was leaking coolant when it came on. I dont know why it would come on if your coolant level is ok.

i get this problem often as well. But it only happens on cold days on starting the car - which are quite a few in Chicago. Also this light goes away when the car warms up.

The other things which happens a lot is the LOW OIL light comes on whenever i park on an incline. the manual says thats expected as well.

I have a 96 GT and mine was weird like that also. It would stay on for a couple of minutes then go off for a couple of minutes and keep repeating that. There was no pattern to it either, just sometimes it would come on and couple minutes later it would usually go off. I can tell you 100% that it is your check coolant light though. It was my radiator that was leaking though so I got that fixed and it doesnt do it anymore. Every once in awhile it will come on when I"m first starting my car though but then when the engine warms up it goes off.
