Ok so i just (last friday) picked up a 2002GT, my questions are as follows:
1. what is the largest brake i can use with 17 inch bullit wheels
2. car had intake, throttle body, exhaust, was lowered, hotchkis caster plates installed alread, what would be next to do.
3. does anyone make a front end to match the new 2005 mustangs, as a bolt on.
4. what is the largest drag tire i can mount on 17 by 9 wheels to fit the stock body

2. What do you mean by exhaust? All or just cat back? Does it have the stock plenum? What about gears?
3. Yes, but it just does not look right.
4. Street tires: Up front, 275s will fit the body work, but I believe that's it. Out back, you can get 17x10.5 rims and run 315s. Drag tires: I have no idea. If a 17x9 will hold it, 285-295 would be about it.

ok so the car on the front page is a older mustang with a body kit that bolts to the factory locations ?
ok , i have found out more about the car,
1. exhaust was replaced from headers back
2. 4.10 gears
3. centerforce clutch with short throw shifter
.....ok so i have had the car for a very short time, and decided to take it street racing last night
car shifted great all night until i finally decided to run it. I did my burnout, pull up to the "line" and the car launched great. but then -----it would not get out of first, or would not go into 2nd . and every once in a while if i am driving it real hard, it will not go into third,,,any ideas......the car did come with a 75000 mile powertrian warranty .......does that sound like an adjustment, or something bigger.....
Again i am still looking for a good ford shop in/around phila
