I bought my Mach 1 from a dealer all modded. I found out that the speedometer was off. It read 10mph faster than it was actually going. When they called me they said that they did not have a program to adjust for my tire size. When I got the car back, it did not have the same zip to it. If they reversed the chip back to stock, would it do this. Would it make the care not go through the gears smoothly and run rough? I used to be able to chirp the tires when the car went from 1st to 2nd gear. Now very rarely.

It's the gears they adjusted for, the tires are the same diameter as the stock ones. I don't know about your problem though.

No Bad clutch, it is an automatic. I had a tiurbonator and my service engine soon light kept coming on.
So I returned it. Also like I said I used to be able to roast the tires. Did you read the whole post?
