it is not a real big problem i drove around for weeks with only 4 studs and when i finially had one put in i asked the guy is it bad when your down one stud he said he told me he has been driving around with only 3 studs ( 4 stud wheel) for almost a year and he go highway speeds drive it like it was all there

Personally, it's okay, but the way I look at it, is Ford did the 5-lug, and most likely w/ a purpose behind it..
If you wanted to take it racing, I can almost guarantee they won't let you race, once a Tech. Monkey sees it...
The guy w/ 3 lugs is nuts!! I would NEVER voluntarily drive a car on the highway w/ only 3-lugs, unless I was asking to hurt myself..
