Default Help with rim choice

After lots of looking, I finnaly picked up a stang. I got a 99 red/orange (torch red?) gt convert, and am looking to get some new rims. Right now I am stuck trying to decide if 18" chrome bullets will look nice, or if I should go with something else. Im looking for some suggestions that you guys/gals might have. I think the chrome bullets might look nice b/c I want to get the ss "mustang" inserts in the back.

Here is a pic... it is BEGGING to be dropped and rimmed up

Also, do most people here opt for staggered rims, or same all around?

Thanks for the help!

18" Chrome Bullitts are nice. Just the damn tires are so expensive. The only reason I stayed with 17.

I have the chrome bullits on my mustang and they are great looking rims and they have an awesome chrome quality coating. I know this because unfortunately i had no choice but to drive it through winter last year. it was horrible i really didnt make it too far on most days, but the rims didnt have a rust spot on them when i cleaned them in the summer time. only the lugs had rust. I get a lot of compliments with the chrome bullits, but they were expensive i paid $350 each. but if you want a good site for tires go to www.edgeracing.com they have great prices. i get the hankooks i have them on my car now and they ride great. well good luck!!

I'm thinking about going with the saleen replicas on mustangtuning.com. Probably 18-9's and 18-10's

Has anyone got these? Good quality?

mine cost $1000 for wheels, tires, mounting and balanceing, and shipping 17x9 and 17x10.5 wheels , 275/40/17 and 315/35/17 tires pretty good IMO

im going most likely with 17x10 cobra silver rims. 18 inch rims would involve me spending more money for tires and screw that.. so 17 inch cobras r good for me. the rims that come with the GT's are ugly unless u get the upgraded wheel package liek the ones on ine..those look nice..ford should design better rims =P
