ok, here's a question for you all. First, how exactly do you powershift? second, what is the best rpm to shift at in each gear to obtain maximum performance? in a 04 mach i mean. thanks everyone

Im pretty sure power shifting is when shifting a gear, and for that split second your in neutral between gears, you rev your engine.

powershifting is the art of never coming off the gas, so you have to know how to work your shift gates........ as far as a mach 1, i really don't know because i have never driven one...

Ronnie Sox, AKA Mr 4 speed, could tell you. If he were driving he could knock off a full second in the quater for you.

get a short throw shifter and you wont mess it up. It has springs that line the next gear up for you so you can slam them all day and not mess a thing up.
